Isaac-Solomos march: In Rhodes, Kastellorizo and Ro the motorcycliststranslated

The motorcyclists found a big hug in Rhodes, with so much shared history with Cyprus, as stated in an announcement by the Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative. The motorcyclists arrived at the port of the island on July 12 and were welcomed with the flags of Greece and Cyprus, raised by Rhodians for the honor of Tasos, Solomon and Cyprus that remains enslaved.
"On the large island of the Dodecanese, a visit was made to the 1st Amphibious Assault Squadron and laying of wreaths at the altar of the camp. This as an expression of gratitude for the commandos who participated and fell in the "Victory" operation when the Turkish forces were advancing to occupy the whole of Cyprus. Wreaths were also laid at the Altar of the Homeland, an important historical and symbolic monument of the city of Rhodes and Liberty Square. The motorcyclists also watched the lowering of the flag, expressing gratitude for Rhodes and the Rhodesian land", the announcement states.
An event of memory and honor for the 52 years of Turkish occupation and the 30 years since the murders of Tasos Isaac and Solomos Solomos was held by the Cypriot Association of Rhodes.
