The Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki announces that, in view of the feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Holy Cross, next Friday, September 11, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., it will arrive at the Metropolitan Holy Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, in the Municipality of Pylaia - Hortiatis (area "Villa Ridge"), and will be placed to venerate the Holy Cara of our holy Father David in Euboea. According to the program that has already been announced, the holy services of Vespers, Holy Communion and Divine Liturgy will be held daily, during the days of the Pilgrimage, in the aforementioned Holy Church, while holy Prayers and Vigils will also be held.

In particular, it is pointed out that during the two days, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, the Inauguration of the Holy Church will take place, a unique event with high ecclesiastical and spiritual importance.

Specifically, on the afternoon of Saturday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m., the reception of the Holy Relics will take place and, subsequently, the Vespers of the Inauguration, while on the morning of Sunday, September 13, at 6:30 a.m., the Resurrection Orthros will begin and will be followed by the ceremony of the Inauguration and the solemn Divine...

Хорошо, что мощи святого Давида привезут именно к празднику Воздвижения Креста. Интересно, успеют ли закончить все приготовления к освящению храма за эти два дня. Буду молиться, чтобы многие смогли поклониться.

Bine că moaștele Sfântului David vin tocmai de sărbătoarea Înălțării Sfintei Cruci. Am fost odată la Eubeea și am văzut mănăstirea lui, e un loc simplu și plin de har. Mă întreb dacă vor termina într-adevăr pregătirile pentru sfințire în doar două zile, dar Dumnezeu le rânduiește pe toate.

Добро е што моштите на свети Давид доаѓаат токму за Воздвижение на Чесниот Крст. Бев во Солун минатата година и го знам тој мал параклис во „Вила Риџ“ – скромен, но убав. Хорошо, что мощи святого Давида привезут как раз к Воздвижению Креста, прямо в этот скромный параклис в «Вилла Ридж». Я была в похожем небольшом храме на Афоне, там тоже всё просто, но после службы на душе спокойно. Интересно, как они успеют с приготовлениями за два дня, но, видно, всё по промыслу.

Добре, що мощі святого Давида привезуть саме до свята Воздвиження Хреста, у той маленький паракліс у «Вілла Рідж». Я чула, що він скромний, але після вечірні там завжди тихо і спокійно. Цікаво, чи встигнуть вони з підготовкою до освячення за два дні, бо в нас на парафії навіть на просту панахиду все тижнями плануємо.
