After his trip to Hungary, on the occasion of the festive events there, His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, returned yesterday, September 10, 2026, to the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Fanari. The announcement in detail:

His Holiness Panagiotis the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomaios, after the celebratory events in Budapest in which he was prominent, spent a few days of rest in Austria and late yesterday evening (September 10) returned with his entourage to Poland.

Glad the Patriarch made it back safely after the Hungary events and those few quiet days resting in Austria. Travel like that at his age isn't easy. Hope he gets a bit more calm time at the Phanar now.
