The Holy Church of Agios Kosmas of Etolos is celebrating, at the Arta Exhibition Centertranslated

On August 24, our Holy Church honors the memory of the Holy Martyr Cosmas of Aitolos and the Holy Church of Agios Cosmas of Aitolos celebrates, at the Exhibition Center of Arta "Kostas Vagias". As part of the celebration, solemn Masses will be held, as follows: On Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Great Vespers will be celebrated.

On Monday, August 24, 2026, at 7 am, the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated.

During the Holy Services, a fragment of the Holy Relic of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos will be placed in veneration, for the blessing and sanctification of the faithful.

Devout Christians are invited to come and participate in the Holy Services, honoring the memory of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos and receiving his blessing.

I didn't know they had a relic of St. Kosmas at the Artas exhibition centre. We'll be away on the 24th but I'll try to make the Great Vespers on the 23rd if the kids' schedule allows. Thanks for posting the exact times.

Will there be litia after the Liturgy on August 24 or just the service in the center itself? Thanks for the exact times, I might arrive on Vespers because my shift ends earlier.

I am glad to bring a part of the relics of Saint Cosmas to Arta this year. I, for one, would go to Vespers on Sunday evening, because 7 in the morning is a bit early with the electrician's schedule. Thanks for the exact times.

It’s good that the relics will be brought this year too. Last year I went to Vespers on Sunday, there were a lot of people, but it was calm. But at 7 am for the Liturgy it is really too early, especially if there is a shift or children. Thanks for the exact time.
