The miraculous icon of Panagia Therapeutria dates back to 1740. In the 1960s, the icon was stolen. In the year 2003, the Metropolitan of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, Mr. Ioustinos, instructed the monk Agathonikos, currently the Bishop of Arusha and Central Tanzania, to recreate the icon. There are many testimonies about the appearance of the Virgin Mary in I.M. Dormition Theotokos Kladorrachis Florinis as well as her countless miracles.

Am auzit de minunile ei de la un prieten care a fost la mănăstire. Interesant că a fost furată în anii '60 și refăcută exact după porunca mitropolitului Iustinos în 2003 de către călugărul Agathonikos, care acum e episcop în Africa. Oare mai există vreo fotografie cu varianta veche din 1740?
