The fifth camping season of the Diocese of Chalkidos has been completedtranslated

On Sunday, August 9, the fifth period of the Camps of the Holy Metropolis of Chalkidos was completed. In the camp facilities of the Holy Metropolis, in North Evia, sixty high school boys were hosted, who had the unique opportunity to know God more and to experience the beautiful and creative life of the Camp. Hieromon was the leader of the camp period. Irenaios Stamelos, surrounded by capable executives, Deputy Leaders, Community Leaders and Team Leaders, whose experience is many years old and whose contribution to the Camps of our Holy Metropolis is recognized.

The theme of the fifth camp period was "The Heroes of our Faith". Through the daily life and activities of the Camp, the children had the opportunity to meet, listen to and study figures from the Old and New Testaments and, at the same time, to understand that the heroes of this world often change, are forgotten or fade over time, while the Heroes of our Faith always remain alive and timeless, constituting true models of life.
