The feast of the Nativity of the Virgin in the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouriatranslated
With particular splendor and the participation of a large number of believers, the great Mother of God feast of the Birth of the Most Holy Theotokos was celebrated in the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouria. On the eve of the holiday, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epiphanios went to Kosmas Kynourias, where, at the entrance of the village, he welcomed the Holy Icon of the Virgin of Elona with the participation of the clergy and the faithful.
A litanic procession followed to the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyros Kosmas, where the High Priestly Vespers of the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos was held, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Epiphanios.
On the main day of the feast, His Eminence the Metropolitan officiated at the Orthro Mass and then presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of Genesis of the Theotokos "Panagia the Healer", in the Kolokotroni Settlement of Tripoli, flanked by the Proconsul of the Holy Metropolis, Panosiologiotatos Archimandrite Stefanos Kappe, and the vicars of the Holy Church, Archimandrite Nikodemos Zarokostas and Fr. Ioannis Papachristodoulou, as well as the Deacon of the Holy Metropolis Fr. Alexios Zarzani.
