My father’s uncle lost everything in Smyrna and ended up in Chania with just the clothes on his back. Nice to see the parish still keeping the memory alive at St. Nicholas. Thanks for the report.

My maternal grandfather left Smyrna in 22 and he also ended up in Chania. I am glad that the parish of Agios Nikolaos Splantzias continues to remember all this with liturgy and not just with words. Thanks for the post.
