The Pskov Diocese welcomed the right hand of Saint Spyridontranslated

Yesterday, Monday, August 31, 2026, the shrine with the holy relic of Saint Spyridon was transferred to the Pskov Metropolis, where it was received by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhov Mr. Mattheos. His Eminence, the clergy and the people, in a procession, transferred the holy relic to the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity, where a prayer was held.

Спаси Господи за новость. Рад, что правую руку святого Спиридона наконец привезли в Псков, в Троицкий собор — помню, как в прошлом году на рыбалке местные рассказывали, что мощи давно ждут. Интересно, сколько народу собралось на всенощную в тот ранний час?

Спаси Господи за новината. Интересно, че са я пренесли точно в Троицкия събор – като гледам видеото, процесията изглеждаше много тържествена, а владыка Матфей говори просто и по човешки. Колко души все пак дойдоха на бдението в пет сутринта, някой да знае?

Slavă lui Dumnezeu. Am văzut și eu filmulețul ăla, procesiunea până la Catedrala Sfintei Treimi arată cu adevărat mișcătoare, mai ales cum a vorbit Mitropolitul Matei simplu, fără înflorituri. Mă întreb și eu câți or fi fost la agrypnie la ora 5 dimineața, că la Pskov toamna devreme e deja frig.

Da, și mie mi-a plăcut cum a vorbit Mitropolitul Matei, direct și din inimă. La noi în corul bisericii am avut o dată o priveghere la 4 dimineața iarna și eram vreo 12-15 oameni, deci la Pskov probabil au fost mai mulți decât ne imaginăm. Tu ai fost vreodată la o astfel de noapte lungă de rugăciune?

Da, și mie mi-a plăcut predicile alea scurte și clare ale Mitropolitului Matei, parcă vorbea cu vecinii de pe stradă. La agrypnie cred că au fost destui, la Pskov lumea e obișnuită cu gerul din septembrie. Tu ai prins vreodată o priveghere la fabrica unde lucrez noi, că uneori se face una și la ora 5?
