Kutsopodi in Argolis celebrates its Patron saint Saint Kyriakitranslated

The memory of the Holy Great Martyr Kyriaki is commemorated with great pomp, in the eponymous Holy Church in Koutsopodi, Argolis. On the eve of the feast, Monday July 6, a Great Solemn Vespers was held after Artoklasia and the Divine Sermon.

It is one of the biggest festivals of the prefecture of Argolis and gathers people from all the surrounding areas. After the end of the vespers, there was a procession of the miraculous icon of Agia Kyriaki.

Хорошо, что после вечерни всегда выносят чудотворную икону на литию. У нас в Минске тоже так делают на престольные, люди потом долго стоят и прикладываются. А в Арголиде, наверное, особенно красиво в июле.

The procession with the wonderworking icon after the Great Vespers sounds lovely. Our parish does the same on our patronal feast and the line to venerate it always stretches around the block. July in the Peloponnese must make for a beautiful setting too.
