High Priest Divine Liturgy for the 58th Anniversary of the Inauguration of the Orthodox Academy of Cretetranslated
The established High Priestly Divine Liturgy after the offering, presided over by Rev. Matr. Kissamos and Selinos Mr. Amfilochiou, President of the Foundation, for the 58th anniversary of the opening of the Orthodox Academy of Crete (October 13, 1968), will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the adjacent Holy Patriarchal and Cross Monastery of Odigetria Gonia. The renovation work of the old wing of the Foundation, which continues at a rapid pace, thanks to the efforts and coordination of Mr. Stavros Arnautakis, Regional Governor of Crete, in which the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is located, makes it impossible to hold the Holy Services.
Friends of the OAK are invited to prayerfully participate in the above devotional meeting for its 58 years of operation, an important day, which is always an opportunity to reflect on its contribution to the Church and the local Society, in the past, present and... future of Crete.
