Annual commemoration of blessed priest Emmanuel Kambouris in Samothrakitranslated

In an atmosphere of emotion, the annual memorial service of the blessed priest and teacher Emmanuel Kambouris was held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Kamariotissa, Samothraki.

The participation of the inhabitants of the island was great, proving the respect and love of the fellow residents of father Emmanuel for the "papa-teacher" for his many years of contribution and devotion to our island, Samothraki. The fact of the participation in the Divine Liturgy of the president of the Hierarchs of Greece, Prot. Sokratis Xenikakis, who traveled from Rethymno, Crete, to honor the memory of Fr. Emmanuel, was special.
