The Ghana Orthodox Youth camp has startedtranslated

Yesterday, Saturday August 1, 2026, with the blessing of the Most Holy Theotokos and the paternal wishes of the Reverend Metropolitan of Accra, Mr. Daniel, the ten-day Camp of the Orthodox Youth of Ghana began, which takes place in the town of Larteh Akuapem, in the Eastern Region of the country. From the early hours of the morning dozens of boys and girls from all the Orthodox Communities of Ghana arrive with particular enthusiasm to participate in this important annual spiritual and youth event.
Upon their arrival, the campers are registered, while they receive the special participation card, the official Camp T-shirt, as well as rich educational and spiritual material for the study of the Orthodox faith.
Today, Sunday, after the Divine Liturgy, the official opening of the Camp will take place with the celebration of the Consecration, marking the beginning of a rich program of spiritual, educational, sports and recreational activities.
