Exodus sequence of blessed Michael Epitropakis...translated

September 3, 2026 · 1 min read

On Thursday, September 3, Rev. Our Metropolitan, Mr. Andreas, performed the exodus of Blessed Michael Epitropakis at the Holy Church of Agios Titos in Kalyvia Monofatsiou. Our respected Pastor, in his speech, offered words of comfort to the family, while he wished the Lord Christ to rank the late Michael among the Saints.

Eternal memory to Mikhail. I remember how he always came to the church in Kalyvia, such a quiet person. May the Lord rest his soul with the saints and comfort his family.

I agree, Gregory, Mikhail was indeed very quiet and modest. I saw him a couple of times in the church in Kalyvia, he always stood in the corner, praying. Eternal memory to him.

Yes, Nadezhda, he really always stood on the sidelines, didn’t look around at anyone. I remembered him exactly like that - in a dark jacket, with a rosary in his hands. Eternal memory to Mikhail.

Yes, exactly, in a dark jacket and with rosary - I also saw him like that in the church. He was a quiet man, he never pushed forward. Eternal memory to him.

I remember him too, Gregory. He was always one of the first to arrive, put a candle near the icon of St. Titus and stood quietly. Eternal memory. How long has it been since you last saw him in the church?

Yes, Gregory, he was a quiet man, he prayed almost inaudibly. I last saw him at a service last year, just before Christmas. Eternal memory to Mikhail.
