It’s good that so many people gathered, especially with the mayor and the military. In Krasnodar, too, apples are always blessed after the service at Transfiguration, I wonder if they do the same in Kilkis?

In Yaroslavl there is also always a crowd at Transfiguration, especially when the priest blesses the apples after the liturgy. I wonder if in Kilkis they also bless fruit after Vespers or just serve the service? And the mayor and the military are good that they stand with the people.

In Nizhny, too, apples are always blessed, and baskets are brought out right after the liturgy. And in Kilkis, apparently, the main emphasis is on the holiday itself and on the fact that the whole city came with the authorities.
