4th Inaugural Conference of Youth Executives of I. M. Aetolia and Akarnaniatranslated

The 4th Inaugural Conference of Responsible Priests and Youth Executives of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania was held with great success on Sunday, September 27, 2026. First, the Consecration Service was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania, Mr. Damascenes, who then, announcing the opening of the work of the Conference, emphasized that Catechesis is par excellence the work of the Church and the goal is the continuous upgrading of this work and the training of responsible priests, catechists and catechists and of all those who deal with this sensitive pastoral sector of the Church. He introduced the speakers and thanked them for accepting the invitation and expressed his satisfaction with the operation of the institution of catechetical synagogues to date. His Eminence also thanked all the participants, clergy and laity who will undertake the sacred task of catechesis in our local Church.
