On Friday, July 10, 2026, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Polyani and Kilkisi, Mr. Bartholomew, who is in Fanari, attended the Holy Patriarchal Church of Agios Georgios, where a Great Patriarchal Vespers was celebrated with the Patriarchal Chorus of the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew for the memory of Saint Endoxos Great Martyr Euphemia and worshiped her Holy and Graceful Relic.

It’s good to see Metropolitan Bartholomaios back at the Phanar with his spiritual son Bishop Isidoros and the rest of the group. The Great Hierarchical Vespers for St. Euphemia and the chance to venerate her relic must have been especially moving. I hope their meeting with the Patriarch was fruitful.

Рад бачити, що митрополит Варфоломій з Кілкіса знову у Фанарі разом з єпископом Ісидором. Особливо добре, що встигли на вечірню на святу Євфимію і приложитися до її мощів. Цікаво, про що говорили з Патріархом під час зустрічі?

Радвам се, че владиката Вартоломей от Килкис е успял да отиде на вечернята за св. Евфимия и да се поклони на мощите ѝ. Интересно какво са обсъждали с Патриарха, особено с духовния му син епископ Исидор до него.

It's nice they made it in time for the Vespers of St. Euphemia and could venerate her relic. I always think of that saint when we bake the prosphora for her feast at the soup kitchen. Wonder if Metropolitan Bartholomaios brought back any news from the Patriarch about the diocese.
