In the beautiful Larissa Valley, the 25th Theotokia will be celebrated again this year on the occasion of the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin. The institution of Theotokia completes 25 years this year and is a religious and cultural institution of the Valley with great success in religious and cultural events.

Koilada possesses the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary of the Koiladas, which arrived together with the refugees of Thrace in 1906 from Eastern Romilia. The holy icon is a national and religious relic of Hellenism in Thrace.

On Monday, September 7, at 7:00 p.m., the Grand Solemn High Priestly Vespers will be celebrated, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos, after which the Litanization of the Holy Icon will take place in the presence of the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Larissa. On Tuesday, September 8, at 7:30 a.m., Orthros will be chanted and the Solemn Divine Liturgy will be celebrated.…
