Mă bucur că a primit-o pe doamna ambasadoare Irene Riga și pe consulul Dimitrios Angelosopoulos. E bine că Patriarhul Theofilos le-a vorbit despre munca Patriarhiei în Iordania și Palestina, mai ales că bunicii mei au fost pelerini pe acolo odată. Oare a menționat ceva concret despre proiectele din Qatar?

Mă bucur și eu că a primit-o pe doamna Riga, mai ales că a vorbit despre tot ce face Patriarhia în Iordania și Palestina. Despre Qatar nu zice nimic concret în anunț, dar știu că acolo au început niște lucrări la o capelă mică acum doi ani. Bunicii tăi au ajuns până în Sinai sau s-au oprit doar la Locurile Sfinte?

The Patriarch did a good job explaining the full scope of the work—Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Sinai and even Qatar. I remember reading about that small chapel project starting in Doha a couple years back; glad it got a mention. Interesting that the Greek ambassador came with the consul from Jerusalem.
