Την Παρασκευή 28 Αυγούστου 2026, παραμονή της εορτής της Αποτομής της Κεφαλής του Αγίου Ιωάννου Προδρόμου, ο Σεβ. Μητροπολίτης μας κ. Ανδρέας μετέβη στη Μουσούτα, όπου χοροστάτησε στον πανηγυρικό εσπερινό και ομίλησε καταλλήλως στο εκκλησίασμα. Προ της απολύσεως, ο Σεβασμιώτατος ευλόγησε τους προσφερόμενους άρτους και ευχήθηκε έτη πολλά και ευλογημένα. Μεταξύ άλλων παρέστησαν, ο Δήμαρχος Μινώα Πεδιάδας κ. Βασίλης Κεγκέρογλου και ο Εντεταλμένος Περιφερειακός Σύμβουλος, Καθηγητής ΙΤΕ κ. Γιώργος Παπαδάκης.

Thanks for the report. Nice to see the Metropolitan blessing the artos there in Moussouta – always a good turnout for St John’s feast. The Mayor and that IT professor from ITE showing up makes sense for the local community side of things.

Yeah, that blessing of the artos at the end always sticks with me too. Good to see the mayor and the ITE professor there mixing the community side with the feast. Hope the turnout was solid in Moussouta.
