Sanctification for the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year at the Daily Masses of the Metropolis of Kitrostranslated

It started on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, on the occasion of the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year, the new period of operation of the "Artos o Epiousios" Daily Communions of the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos. The Consecration was performed by the Patriarch of the Holy Metropolis, His Eminence Archimandrite Fr. Varnavas Leontiadis, who conveyed the paternal wishes and blessings of the Reverend Metropolitan of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, Mr. Georgios to those in charge, the staff and all the volunteers who daily offer their services, practically supporting the social and charity work of the local Church.

The Daily Meetings have been operating continuously since 2000, being one of the most important and most recognized pillars of social contribution of the Holy Metropolis. For their many years of invaluable contribution to humanity, they have been honored in the past with a distinction from the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, a recognition that confirms the importance and social value of the work they perform.
