Yes, Korça has beautiful traditions with prayers for children, I know it well. Here in Gjirokastër, the priests often say "Lord, enlighten the minds of our children as the sun illuminates the mountains", but I always add the prayer of St. John Chrysostom for peace at home. Your math teacher is right, without quiet, even books don't get into your head - I've tried it with my older son. What prayer do you use in class specifically?
