It is interesting that such famous doctors as Konovalov and Likhterman found time to look into our diocesan museum and Spassky Cathedral. It is especially touching that Konovalov is already over 90, and he is still in business. It's good when science and faith don't interfere with each other.

Yes, Konovalev is indeed already 93 years old, and he is still actively participating in conferences. It's interesting that they visited our museum and Spassky Cathedral—probably they looked at icons and exhibits on ecclesiastical medicine. It's good when such people find time for this.

Yes, I agree, at 93 years old you can still go to conferences and museums - this is strong. I recently read that Konovalov has been operating on the most complex cases all his life, and at the same time, apparently, faith is not an empty phrase for him. I wonder what exactly they remember most about the cathedral, do you think?

Yes, at 93 years old you are still so active - this is rare. We also have one doctor in Kazan who came to the parish at that age and always said that prayer helps to concentrate before surgery. Have you been to the museum yourself? What interesting things are usually shown there for guests?

Yes, 93 years old - and still in business, respect. I was thinking, maybe they were in the museum looking specifically at the exhibits about St. Luke Voino-Yasenetsky, he was also a neurosurgeon. Have you ever been to this museum in Penza?

Yes, at 93 years old such activity is truly rare and commands respect. The museum most often displays ancient icons from the Spassky Cathedral and archival documents about Penza missionary doctors of the 19th century; guests are always interested in this. And that Kazan doctor you write about, what church did he come to, if it’s not a secret?
