On July 13, at the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of the Coptic Tawadros II, a delegation of representatives of Egyptian monasticism arrived in Moscow with the purpose of making a pilgrimage to the Orthodox monasteries of Russia.

I wonder whether these Egyptian monks will start from the Troitsko-Sergievskaya Lavra or from some smaller monastery. It's good that they came, maybe they will see what monastic life really looks like here.

I wonder if they will start from the Lavra, because there are always crowds there. Here in Hajnówka, in the nunnery, it is much quieter, maybe they would like it. What do you think will impress them most about us?

I wonder what they would say about our sourdough bread after such a visit to the Lavra. I think they would be most surprised by the silence in smaller monasteries, like the one in Supraśl. Have you ever been to Hajnówka?
