The youth group "Malachite" took part in the forum "The Heritage of Ancestors in the Hands of the Young"translated

As part of the Simeonov Fair, a youth forum “The Heritage of Ancestors in the Hands of the Young” was held at the Church of All Saints in the Land of Siberia on the Tura River near the village of Merkushino on September 20, 2026. The volunteer Orthodox youth detachment “Malachite”, which was created under the detachment “Flotilla “Ark”” of the Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders, took part in the event.

The fair traditionally takes place on the territory of the former village of Raskatikha on the banks of the Tura River. It is here that there is a stone from which, according to legend, the holy righteous Simeon of Verkhoturye loved to fish.

The forum brought together young people from different cities in the northern Urals. As part of the program, lively discussions took place on the preservation of the spiritual and material heritage of their native Fatherland, an exchange of experience and a presentation of projects implemented by youth associations took place, the children took part in the historical quest “In Search of Truth,” as well as in various master classes.
