On September 18, 2026, the hockey academy of A. V. Biryukov, based on the territory of the Salyut sports and recreation complex in Dolgoprudny, was visited by the person responsible for sports and youth in the Dolgoprudny deanery, cleric of the Transfiguration Church in Dolgoprudny, Priest John Slobrzhin. Father John spoke with the students and coaching staff, and also performed a prayer service as a blessing for the new season.

It's good that Father Ioane spoke personally to the children and the coaches. Such a blessing at the beginning of the season will certainly not be superfluous. Such visits to sports schools would also be good in our Telavi.
