Metropolitan Longin congratulated the students of the Suvorov School on the beginning of the new academic yeartranslated

On September 1, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year at the Ulyanovsk Guards Suvorov Military School.

The participants of the ceremonial formation were welcomed by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russkikh.

Metropolitan Longin congratulated the students of the school and teaching staff on the Day of Knowledge:

I wish, with God’s help, to become kind and sympathetic people with a big heart, and at the same time courageous, brave, responsible, capable of taking care of and defending our Fatherland and everything that is most precious in human life - their land, faith, culture, loved ones and relatives.
