Thank you for the text of the sermon. What appealed to me the most was when Vladyka spoke about the fact that St. Michael teaches us to fight evil in the heart, not just on the outside. It reminded me how often I forget about my own internal battles.

I agree, Eva, that moment about the internal struggle really tugged at my heartstrings as well. I often say to myself that I could at least name the external evil, but I prefer to overlook the evil in my heart. How are you doing with your own "battles" lately?

I agree with you both. It was this part about the internal battle that made me think about how every morning I say "Lord, have mercy" in my prayer, and then all day long I struggle with irritation towards the students. Thanks for the sermon, I will read it again.

I agree, Marianna, and I often repeat "Lord have mercy" to myself in the morning, and then in the store I get annoyed with the customers who leave everything messy. This part about the internal battle really hits the mark. I will try to apply it at the university in the afternoon.

Marek, that's right, the inner part is the hardest. Last week, after dinner, I had to stop being angry with my husband for being stupid, and I preferred to admit it in front of the icon. How are you doing, can you at least name it right away, or does it take time for you too?

Mariana, I often start the day with "Lord have mercy" and then I get angry in the kitchen because the pots are not in their place. Yours about students is very familiar to me - and I have seen this internal battle being fought every day. I will re-read the sermon tomorrow after chess with Bai Peter.

Yes, Juraj, exactly the inner confession is the most difficult. It often takes me a few days before I can name it before the icon, not right away. And you, how often do you solve it the same evening?
I
Ivana Kováčová
Yes, Tomáš, that's right - the internal naming is the most difficult. It often happens to me only on the second or third day, when I already know what God actually wants to hear from me. And you, how are you managing to "name" it after those few days - is it getting easier, or is it still dragging on?
