I see the cathedral in Perm still draws a good crowd for vigil. Metropolitan Ignaty always serves with such steady calm. Our choir here in Sydney could learn a thing or two from how they keep the tone so even during the longer parts.

The choir in Perm does keep things remarkably steady, especially on those long stichera. I remember visiting there years ago and being surprised how the voices didn't waver even after an hour. Does your Sydney choir mostly sing in English or do you mix in Slavonic too?
