It's nice that Metropolitan Methodios was in Manchester for the Feast of the Ascension. That piece from St. Nikolai Velimirovich always captures me - outside is ordinary life and inside something so big is happening. Here in Prešov, we had a similar silent celebration, only without the bishop.

У нас в Ярославле на Успение тоже всегда тихо и по-домашнему, хотя народу приходит много. Понравилась мысль из проповеди святителя Николая — снаружи всё как обычно, а внутри такая тишина и важность момента. Спасибо, что поделились отрывком, обязательно дочитаю.
