Po të jetë kështu që kjo kishë ruse në Menton mban gjallë kujtesën e një komuniteti prej më shumë se 130 vjetësh, do të doja të dija nëse atje ende bëjnë ndonjë shërbesë në rusisht për turistët ose për banorët e vjetër rusë që jetojnë aty. Më pëlqeu çfarë tha prifti Eugène Nikitine për trashëgiminë shpirtërore – duket si një vend që nuk e ka humbur fare lidhjen me rrënjët.

Интересно, че отец Евгений Никитин продължава да пази тази памет повече от 130 години. Чудя се дали и сега правят служби на руски за туристите или за старите руснаци там, както пита Андреа. Харесва ми, че такива места още стоят като малки късчета от миналото на фона на морето.

I visited Menton a few years back on a fishing trip along the coast and remember seeing that golden dome against the sky. It's good to hear Father Eugene Nikitine is still keeping the old Russian community's memory alive after 130 years. I wonder if they still serve in Russian for the visitors like Andrea asked.

Da, zanimljivo je kako ta crkva u Mentonu već preko 130 godina čuva rusko prisustvo na Azurnoj obali. Otac Jevgenij Nikitin izgleda da dobro radi posao kad ga svi pominju. Pitam se da li i sad služe na ruskom bar ponekad, posebno ljeti kad navale turisti, kao što su pitali Andrea i Velička.
