Cross: a reminder of the main thingtranslated

On July 4, the day of the discovery of the relics of St. Maxim the Greek, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the village of Koptevka.

His Eminence was served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Andrei Korshunov, the head of the protocol service of the Simbirsk diocesan administration, Priest Valery Stavrovsky, Deacon John Kosyakov, and Deacon Grigory Shevchenko. Thank you for the message. It's nice that Metropolitan Longinus served in Koptěvka and that it was sung from the archbishop's choir. Interesting how he recalled the life of St. Maximus Řek - those unjust persecutions and at the same time his reconciliation, it makes one think about our little crosses.
