On September 6, the ark with part of the relics of the blessed Grand Duke Dimitri Donskoy was carried at the head of the All-Moscow religious procession. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, from September 7 to 20, the shrine will be available for worship by believers in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

I remember reading how St. Dmitry Donskoy prayed before the Battle of Kulikovo. It’s good to know the relics are right here in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior for two whole weeks starting tomorrow. I’ll try to stop by after school one afternoon.
