On August 4, 2026, the priest of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia in the city of Novokuznetsk, Priest Vyacheslav Tyunin, held a missionary conversation at the Integrated Center for Social Services for the Population of the Zavodsky District of Novokuznetsk on the topic: “Prayer, types of prayer and its role in the spiritual life of a person.”

As an example of living communication with God, the priest read some prayers from the prayer book of the holy righteous John of Kronstadt.

Thank you for telling me. It’s good that Father Vyacheslav reminded us about the types of prayer - especially repentance and gratitude, which we most often lack. I wonder if he read something from the prayer book of John of Kronstadt about the fight against laziness, this is just for me.
