A cleric of the diocese visited the ceremonial line in Belitsatranslated

On September 1, the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross in the agricultural town of Belitsa, Priest John Peshko, took part in the ceremonial assembly dedicated to the beginning of the school year at the Belitsa secondary school.

The priest congratulated everyone present on the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new school year. Father John wished the schoolchildren diligence, wisdom and patience, the teachers strength and inspiration in their hard work, and the parents joy for the success of their children.

At the end of the line, Father John sprinkled everyone present with holy water.

Хорошо, что отец Иоанн пришёл на линейку. Особенно понравилось, что после всех пожеланий ещё и святой водой окропил — сразу чувствуется начало учебного года по-настоящему. У нас в Мюнхене тоже стараемся так делать, когда получается.

Хорошо, что и у вас в Мюнхене стараются так же делать. У нас в Казани в прошлом году батюшка тоже окропил после линейки, дети потом весь день обсуждали, кто сколько капель поймал. А в какой школе у вас это обычно проходит?
