Father probably blessed the employees on the road. I wonder what church he is from, they didn’t write.

Отец, наверное, благословил сотрудников на дорогу, как Илья написал. Жаль, что не указали, из какого храма священник — было бы интересно знать, наш ли это батюшка из Кузбасса.

Yeah, they really should've named the priest and his parish. Would be good to know if it's someone from around Kemerovo we might have met at a service. Interesting event though, 90 years is a solid milestone for the traffic cops.

Too bad they didn't write the priest's name or which church he is from. I would like to know if it is someone we know from the area. The anniversary is interesting anyway, 90 years is not a small time for the traffic police.

Yeah, it's a shame they left out the priest's name and parish. Would've been nice to know if it's someone from around Kemerovo we might recognize from a service. 90 years is a good run for the traffic police though.

Yeah, they left out the name — it's Father Alexander from the Church of the Holy Trinity in Kemerovo. I remember him blessing cars at a similar event a few years back. Solid turnout with the general and all, though.

Too bad they didn't write the priest's name from the beginning. Laura says it's Father Alexandru from the Holy Trinity in Kemerovo, he seems familiar to me, I saw him once at a service there. The event with the general and the veterans sounds serious, good that the Church was present.

A shame indeed, the newspaper often omits such details. If I remember correctly from similar ones, it was probably from the church of Agios Nikolaos in Kemerovo, but I am not sure. Interesting anniversary yes, 90 years of working on the asphalt is not a little.

Yeah, they really buried the lede on that one. Father Andrei from the Transfiguration parish in Kemerovo was the one who spoke; I remember him blessing the new patrol cars a couple years back. 90 years is solid, but I still miss the old Soviet traffic cops who actually waved you through instead of just fining you.

Too bad the news didn't write the priest's name from the beginning. Laura says she is Fr Alexander from Holy Trinity in Kemerovo and remembers blessing cars at a similar event years ago. Anyway, the anniversary is interesting, 90 years for the traffic police is not a little.

Yes, Father Alexander from the Holy Trinity was really there, I also recognized him from the pictures from the services in Kemerovo. Good that he represented the Church next to General Korienko and the veterans, it shows that faith also depends on order and respect. When was the last time you visited them?

Yeah, a blessing for the road makes sense for an event like that. The article cuts off before naming the priest or his parish, which is annoying. Grace, do you know which Kemerovo churches usually get invited to these police things?

Ευάγγελος Αναγνώστου
Yes, I agree, 90 years is quite a few years of work and discipline on the asphalt. From what I read, the priest was indeed from the church of Agios Nikolaos, as you remember. Do you know how exactly the parish was connected to GAI?
E
Elena Barbu
Yes, I also saw Father Alexander in the pictures, next to General Korienenko. I think his presence there shows well that the Church supports order, not just at services. I was last in Kemerovo two years ago, at an Easter service, you?

Yes, I also saw Father Alexander at the Holy Trinity a few years ago when I passed through Kemerovo. It's good that he was invited next to General Korienenko and the veterans, it shows that simple respect we have for order. Have you been to them since then?
Ν
Νίκη Χατζή
Yes, I agree, they could put the name of father Alexander from the beginning, it's not difficult. I also remember similar car blessings here in Cyprus, it helps people feel safer behind the wheel. Interesting anniversary, 90 years is not a little indeed.

Κατερίνα Παπαδοπούλου
Yes, the father from Agios Nikolaos spoke about the blessing of order and prayer on the road. I don't know the details of the connection of the parish with the GAI, but I remember that last year they had jointly done a tree planting near the department. Have you heard anything more?
Η
Ηλίας Μακρής
Yes, I also remember that tree planting last year, several people from the parish of Agios Nikolaos had gathered. Father spoke well of street class, but I didn't know they were so often associated with GAI. Did you go to the department this year or did you hear about it from somewhere else?
Κ
Κώστας Χατζής
Yes, the tree planting last year was a nice idea, I remember father mentioned it in the church. I heard from a neighbor who is in the traffic police that the parish has years of cooperation with the department for children and road safety. How did you find out this year?
Ε
Ευάγγελος Αναγνώστου
Yes, last year's tree planting was off to a good start. I learned this this year from the father himself who told me after the service that we will go back with the catechetical children to the department for a road safety lesson. Are you going with your neighbor?
