It's a good idea to combine fishing and service, Timofey. Just in those parts I fished a couple of times on a river not far from Krypets - the pike took well with a spoon. What body of water are you targeting?

Yes, buses from Yaroslavl to Pskov run normally, a couple of times a day. I myself went there last year by car and stopped at the monastery - it was quiet, good. What river or lake are you planning to fish on? Isn’t it Chudskoye?

It’s a good idea, Ivan, but I wouldn’t combine it - on the patronal feast, the service takes place in the morning, and then usually everyone eats together. Which river did you take the pike from, the one that flows behind the monastery, or further down the road?
