Интересно, что Симмонс в 2014 году приводил в пример Гедеона, Шамгара и Халева, а сам при этом выдавал свой перевод за «более страстный». Читал пару мест из The Passion — там действительно много добавленного от себя. Жаль, что такие вещи годами проходят без внимания.

Александр, точно подметил про Гедеона и Шамгара. Симмонс их ставил в пример, а сам в переводе столько от себя понавыдумывал, что уже и не Библия получается. Жаль, что столько лет это спокойно расходилось по церквям.
