I would like to try iconography. What do I need for this?translated

Reader's Question:

Greetings! Recently, I often think about the desire to engage in iconography. I am unsure whether this will lead to something substantial, and do not intend to devote myself entirely to it – more so, I would like to try it out. I have heard that iconography requires certain qualities from a person, and that not everyone can just decide to start doing it. What does the Orthodox Church say about this?
