Anthimos of Alexandroupolis at the Economist conference talks with the robot Ameca: "What is God to you?"translated

For the second consecutive year, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis, Mr. Anthimos, participated as an invited speaker at the Economist's annual conference in Athens, highlighting the Church's modern view of the great issues of our time. The challenge of maintaining human identity in a world dominated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) came into focus. The panel, moderated by The Economist journalists Daniel Franklin and Fani Papageorgiou, included the Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis, Traianoupolis and Samothraki Anthimos, the Professor of Philosophy of Information Theofanis Tassis, from the Ionian University and the advanced social robot Ameca.

"What is God to you?" His Eminence participated in the highly topical panel: "Soul, code and business: What it means to be human in the age of artificial intelligence", talking with the Professor of Philosophy Mr. Theofani Tassi, but also with the famous humanoid robot, Ameca.

It is interesting that Bishop Antimos directly asked that robot Ameca: "What is God to you?" I would like to hear what it said to him. But it's all about boundaries and ethics, and the main question is still about the soul.

I wonder what this Ameca robot answered to the question "What is God to you?" Because for me, the soul cannot be programmed in the code, and without it it is just a machine, even a very smart one.
