Farm Day in Ostrovsky Farm: a celebration of unity and traditionstranslated
On September 6, 2026, Farm Day was held in the Rural House of Culture of the Ostrovsky farm, uniting residents and guests of the settlement.
As part of the festive program, master classes and an exhibition of arts and crafts by local craftsmen were held. A concert program was also prepared for the guests with the participation of creative groups from rural cultural centers of the Istominsky rural settlement.
The festive event was attended by the head of the Istominsky rural settlement D. A. Kudovba, the rector of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, Priest Roman Filippov, the deputy of the Assembly of Deputies of the Istominsky rural settlement V. I. Mikheev, the ataman of the “Aksai Yurt” of the Cherkassy Cossack district of the East Kazakhstan region of the VVD S. I. Markov, the Cossack colonel, adviser to the ataman V. P. Krivenko, as well as residents of the village.
The head of the SDK of the Ostrovsky farm, A. A. Bogomol, gave the guests a tour of the exhibition of arts and crafts, which presented the works of local craftsmen. Special attention was paid to the products of the “Helping Hands” volunteer club.
