On September 6, full members of the IOPS, together with the Moscow public, celebrated both Moscow Day and the Day of the “Grandmother of the Russian Navy,” Anastasia Alexandrovna Manstein-Shirinskaya, laureate of the “Golden Sign” of the IOPS, who was born on September 5, 1912. An evening of remembrance of her took place at the Moscow Longevity Center (CML). We remembered how the keeper of the memory of the sailors and officers of the Russian squadron, which made its last stop in Tunisian Bizerte in 1920, was honored in Tunisia in 2007.
