I read that the narrator Agrippa complains about not having secretaries like Caesar and that he can't stand long books lying around. It made me smile, because I can't finish 500 pages either. Is the novel really about his quest for God or is it just the title of the article that's a bit of a stretch?

It is interesting that Agrippa complains about long books that drag on. After a shift behind the wheel, I also have enough strength for a maximum of a couple of pages, and not 500. And about the search for God in the novel - is that really the main line or is it more about Roman politics?
