This news reminds me of the story of my friend in church here in Damascus. She was afraid to talk about what had happened to her for years. I hope that this data sheet will be really useful for people who want to protect their children, especially since Chellee Taylor received compensation from the church. But is there a way for them to share information with Orthodox churches as well?

Στην Κύπρο έχουμε δει παρόμοια περιστατικά να μένουν κρυφά χρόνια, οπότε καλό είναι να υπάρχει διαφάνεια. I agree with you, Maryam. The story of your friend in Damascus is painful, and many cases remain hidden out of fear. This database is a good step, especially after replacing Chellee Taylor, but I really wish they would find a way to provide information to the Orthodox churches here, perhaps through direct contact with the Patriarchate. Have you heard if there is any cooperation with the Middle East yet?
