Charity event “Get your child ready for school” was held in Okhatranslated
In the Okha region, a charity event was held to collect donations for the purchase of school supplies for children in difficult life situations “Get your child ready for school.”
Parishioners of the Church of St. Petersburg took part in the charity event. Sergius of Radonezh, employees of the Federal Penitentiary Center No. 2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Sakhalin Region, participants in the charity movement “We are Together”, members of the sports cynology club “Elizar”.
The rector of the parish, Archpriest Georgy Zhuravel, and a representative of pre-trial detention center-2 visited the pupils of the Rodnik SRC center, correctional school No. 4, and a boarding school in the village. Nekrasovka, congratulated the children on the new school year, wished them success in their studies, and presented the children with gifts and school supplies.
