Blessing of the beginning of the harvesttranslated

Today, at the invitation of the district leadership, Archpriest Vyacheslav Lobets took part in the district holiday “Zazhinki”. This year, Zazhinki took place on the fields of OJSC Ilyushinsky. The celebration was attended by the chairman of the district executive committee S.S. Shamovich, Chairman of the Ushachi District Council of Deputies N.N. Markovich, farm managers, machine operators.

Father Vyacheslav blessed the grain growers, wished them health and, of course, sunny days for the harvest of the new harvest.

Good to see Fr. Vyacheslav out there blessing the harvesters on the Ilyushinsky fields. Hope those sunny days he prayed for actually show up this time — last year the rain really dragged things out.

Good to see him out there too. I was on the same fields last summer helping my cousin with his tractor — those endless rainy days turned the ground into a proper bog. Fingers crossed for better weather this harvest.
