The bishops celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Nativity of Christ Cathedraltranslated

On the day of the celebration of the memory of the Hieromartyr Eusebius, Bishop of Samosat (380) and on the 5th Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, Bishop of Chrysostom and Satka Seraphim led the Divine Liturgy in the lower church of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chelyabinsk.

The archpastors were concelebrated by the secretary of the Chelyabinsk diocese, Archpriest Igor Shestakov, and the clergy. The chants were performed by the Bishop's male choir "Axios" under the direction of regent Alexander Khakimov.

In his sermon, Metropolitan Vincent focused on a passage from the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 8:28-34, 9:1) about the Lord’s healing of two demoniacs in the country of Gergesin.

Thanks for this information. In the sermon of Metropolitan Vicente, the example of the Gergesians seemed very simple and direct to me, as we often do - we say to the Lord "go away from here" instead of kindness. The only thing I don't understand is why he didn't finish the sentence when he wrote "but we still...".

The news is beautiful. Father Igor Shestakov and Father Axios always offer prayers in a beautiful way. But in the sermon, when Bishop Vicentius said, “But until now...” he stopped. I remembered how sometimes we, too, recognize the mistake and do not complete it with repentance.
