Walk of Fame opened in Korsakovtranslated
The grand opening of the Walk of Fame took place in Korsakov in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Northern Military District. With the blessing of Archbishop Nikanor of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Kuril, the abbot of the Intercession Monastery, Abbot Alexy (Andreev), took part in the event.
The priest performed a funeral litany and addressed those gathered with a pastoral word, emphasizing that on this day it is especially important to once again remember the names of those who are no longer among us and to honor their memory with prayer.
The opening ended with the laying of flowers at the obelisk to the fallen soldiers.
