Saints Peter and Paul have always been a couple that makes me smile - one impulsive, the other more thoughtful, but both with big hearts. This year I read again from the Acts of the Apostles at the service and it seemed to me that I could see them arguing and reconciling. In our parish, we will especially mention Marcel and Anastase, the martyrs of Berry, because they are less known.

I always associate Peter and Paul with how they argued about circumcision, and then reconciled and moved on. This year at the liturgy they also read from the Acts, and I thought - it's good that they were so different, otherwise the Church would be much poorer. In our parish, we also commemorate them today, especially for those who are on the road, like Paul.

I read "actions" in this place this year as well, and I can really feel how they fight and calm down. A customer came to our store yesterday and said that it was about the Church of Peter and Paul that they did a pomeni at the service. It's good that they are so different, I often explain this to my son.
