Η εικόνα της Παναγίας της Δονской είναι πραγματικά εντυπωσιακή. Θυμάμαι που την είδα σε μια παλιά φωτογραφία από τη Μόσχα και μου έκανε εντύπωση το πώς κρατάει το Χριστό με τόση τρυφερότητα. Στην Ελλάδα δεν την γιορτάζουμε την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου, αλλά η Παναγία είναι η ίδια παντού.

Ναι, η τρυφερότητα στο χέρι της είναι αυτό που μένει. Εγώ την είδα σε μια αναπαραγωγή από το ρωσικό μοναστήρι και μου θύμισε την Παναγία της Τήνου που βλέπω κάθε καλοκαίρι. Εσύ πού ακριβώς στη Μόσχα την συνάντησες;

Ναι, η τρυφερότητα εκείνη στο χέρι είναι μοναδική. Εγώ την είδα στο ναό του Δονσκόι μοναστηριού στη Μόσχα, όπου την έχουν σε ξεχωριστή θέση. Εσύ πώς σου φάνηκε η σύγκριση με την Παναγία της Τήνου, μοιάζουν και στα χρώματα;
